Description: This book traces the interconnected history of books, lettering styles, tools and writing surfaces, from more than 5000 years ago through to the modern-day interest in artists’ books. Each section of the book has been created to reflect the book-structure of the period - scroll, sewn books (codices) and interesting foldings.

 

Displayed in Indooroopilly Library in 2001 and Holland Park Library in 2002.
Exhibited in “Queensland Bound” at the State Library of Qld and “Handmade Paper and Rare Artist Books” in Ohio, USA in 2002.
Displayed at in “An Evening of Art” at Gallery 119 in 2003.
Exhibited in my solo exhibitions “Colourful Language” at Gallery 119 and in Corinda Library in 2004, and at Gallery 159, The Gap in 2007.
