Description: Tricia’s friends in ‘Pulp Action’ (a sub-group of Qld Spinners, Weavers & Fibre Artists) used paper they have made from various plant fibres to construct cones. These were embellished with a variety of plant materials and other found objects.

On some of them Tricia wrote quotes about gaining inspiration and the moving upward and onward

Created as one of the collaborative projects during my2012 Artist-in-Residency at Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Mt Coot-tha. The participating artists were Jill Brose, Joanna Faber, Ngaire Macleod, Sandra Pearce, Jan Pearce and Nat Billing.
Displayed in “The Language of Nature II” exhibition and “Floressence” at Mt Coot-tha (read more information about this in my Residency Blog).
Printed in the 6 page article in “Down Under Textiles” (issue 13) in 2013.
