Technique: Tricia’s lettering design (made by a jeweller)

Size: 5 x 1.5 cm

Description: I designed a logo for myself based on the initials of my name - the letters P (for Patricia) and S (for Smout). There are two letter S’s, which are combined to form a letter P. I created the design using a broad-edged pen, originally for use on my business stationery. I commissioned a jeweller to make it exactly to my specifications. 

Featured in the “Designing with Letters” public lecture and slide presentation at the State Library of Queensland in 1993.

Displayed in Indooroopilly Library in 2001.

Printed in “Textile Fibre Forum” in 2007.
