Description: Flowers and leaves in many different techniques decorate this tunic – fabric appliqué, ribbon ruching, crochet, knitting, felting, etc.

Quotes about flowers are lettered on the fabric.
On the front:
all the flowers of all the tomorrows are in the seeds of today (larger)
people who have flowers in their gardens surely have flowers in their hearts
earth laughs in flowers
with a garden, there is hope
On the back:
as the sun colors flowers, so does art color life (larger)
he who plants a garden, plants happiness
the Amen! of nature is always a flower
along the way, take time to smell the flowers 


Created with Gay McEwan as one of the collaborative projects during my 2012 Artist-in-Residency at Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Mt Coot-tha.
