In-service Classes for Teachers & Teacher Aides

I am a registered teacher (BA, BSc, Grad Dip Art Education) and I hold a current Blue Card.

I have been teaching calligraphy, book arts and paper craft for craft guilds, community groups and in TAFE colleges and schools throughout Queensland for over thirty years.

I have taught in-service classes at many schools throughout Queensland.

I designed and taught TAFE classes specifically for teacher-aides for fifteen years (both Certificate 111, and  Adult & Community classes).

These workshops are enjoyable and practical, and can be scheduled into the program on pupil-free days.

They can be adapted into many curriculum areas, both primary and secondary.

Costs of classes

I charge $70 (AU) per hour or $200 (AU) per half day or $400 (AU) per full day. There may be additional costs of materials for students, and also travelling expenses.

Contact Tricia to arrange a workshop for your school class or community venue.

Teachers & Teacher-Aides will really benefit from this multi-disciplinary class.

“Artists’ Books” was a Level 4 and 5 unit in the Visual Arts Strand of the previous school curriculum, and fits well into many units of the new revisions.
